Current passenger series since 1st January 1991 in red on yellow.
The registration consists of three numerals, followed by a Zia symbol and three letters, all serial.
At the bottom of the plate is New Mexico USA in red above the slogan Land of Enchantment in green.
Bottom left is a yucca plant and bottom right is a revalidation sticker (July 2007).
At the top of the plate are bands of an Indian woven motif and a possibility to put a county name sticker (missing in this case).
